What have you tried? I have tried installing it on a usb and it worked great but it has to install every time. Then my next move was to install it from ubuntu to my hard drive. I did the following:. Downloaded the image from there website. Wrote this into the menu.l (I can not find the tutorial I used but the was called something like menu.lt.ln)What I wrote:title xPUD 0.8.9root (hd0,0)kernel /xpud-0.8.9-image noisapnp lang=en quiet. restarted the computer and whent to grub (think that is the name of my bootloader)However after rebooting there were no xPUD in the grub list.

restarted the computer and whent to grub (think that is the name of my bootloader)However after rebooting there were no xPUD in the grub list. What do I do wrong?.you probably installed grub to (hd?)mbr. So you must update grub, if you install grub with root (hd?,?)partition then whenever you add an item to grub's menu such as splash screen or a distro, then it will 'just work'. I always install grub pointing to partition instead of the whole thing in mbr.But that's just me. When you boot up, you should know if your using lilo or grub. Since i usually see the word lilo or grub when booting.grub root (hd0,0) this is where the /boot/grub is (of course, your drive, partition number may be different like mine hd1,1 or 2,1 etc.)MBR (longer way to update menu.lst) 'grub setup (hd0)' This is each time you edit menu.lst.Partition (easiest way to update menu.lst after setup grub.) 'grub setup (hd0,0) no need to setup grub ever after this, unless you install linux or windows.
